Livery service
Livery services for hotels, agencies and planners
A car service your guests believe is yours. Unmarked black vehicles, chauffeurs who greet in your company's name, and one statement at month end. Sold to the trade in Toronto since the previous edition of this site, now with an account desk.
What livery is
The trade word for a car that is booked, not hailed
In the ground-transport trade, livery is the licensed, pre-arranged, chauffeur-driven vehicle. It is what a hotel means when it says the car is on its way, what a travel agency sells as the transfer on an itinerary, and what a destination management company promises a delegation before it lands. Most of those businesses do not own cars. They own the relationship with the guest, and they need an operator who will protect it.
That is the service on this page. We supply the vehicle and the chauffeur; the guest sees your name. The chauffeur's greeting card, the confirmation email if you want one sent, and the answer when a guest asks who the car belongs to are all yours. The invoice comes to you, itemised by guest, date and cost centre, once a month.
Who books livery
Seven kinds of partner, seven slightly different needs
Hotels & concierges
The car at the door
A guest at the desk wants to leave in ten minutes. The concierge books on the account, the chauffeur texts the plate to the desk, and the car is waiting under the porte-cochère with the guest's name on a card that carries the hotel's crest.
Airport runs, dinner drops, theatre returns and the early flight, billed to the folio or the account.
Travel agencies
The transfer on the itinerary
Agencies sell the arrival transfer with the flight and the hotel. We supply the voucher text, the meeting point paragraph and a confirmation that matches the client's booking reference, so nothing on the itinerary reads as third-party.
Net rates for the trade, gross rates for the client, no commission arithmetic on the day.
Destination management companies
The delegation
Forty delegates on three flights, two hotels, a welcome dinner and a site visit. A coordinator builds the movement plan from your manifest, assigns sedans, Escalades and Sprinters to each leg, and sits on the phone for the duration.
Manifest changes are absorbed, not renegotiated.
Event & wedding planners
The run-of-show
Planners give us the timeline; we give back a vehicle schedule with a buffer on every leg the timeline cannot afford to lose. Speaker cars, VIP pickups and guest shuttles are dispatched from one board so a late keynote does not strand the shuttle loop.
The planner's name on every greeting; ours nowhere.
Executive assistants
The standing arrangement
An assistant who books thirty cars a month wants a profile that remembers the principal's vehicle, seat position, radio preference and the fact that they read in the car. The next booking is a pickup time and a destination, nothing else.
Cost-centre coding on every trip, one line on the expense report.
Private aviation & FBOs
The ramp car
Charter brokers and FBO desks need a vehicle at the aircraft steps when the door opens. We track the tail number, liaise with the handler and stage the car on the apron side of the fence wherever the field permits it.
Other operators
Overflow and affiliate work
Chauffeur companies in other cities send us their Toronto work and we send them ours, through the Limousine Association International affiliate network. Same standards, same paperwork, reciprocal rates.
How an account works
Set up in a day, invoiced once a month
Open the account
A short form on the contact page or a call to the desk. We set up the billing entity, the users who may book, the cost centres and the greeting name the chauffeurs will use. Trade rates are confirmed in writing.
Book any way you like
The online booker with your account code, email to the desk, or a phone call at any hour. Guest profiles are saved after the first trip so a repeat guest is a two-line booking.
We dispatch, you are copied
The chauffeur's name, photo, phone and plate go to the guest and to you. Flight-linked timing on airport work, a live map link once the car is moving, and a coordinator watching the board.
Changes without friction
Flights slip, meetings overrun, a second guest appears. Changes go to the desk and are absorbed; the hourly clock or the fixed fare is adjusted on the statement, not argued at the curb.
One statement
Month end brings a single PDF and a CSV: every trip by date, guest, cost centre, vehicle and fare, with gratuity and tolls already inside the figures. Thirty-day terms on approved accounts.
Reviewed quarterly
Volume, on-time performance and any incident are reviewed with you each quarter, and rates are re-set on volume rather than on a renewal date.
The vehicles behind the account
What your guest steps into
Mercedes-Benz S-Class for the principal, Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV for families and luggage, Sprinters in executive and shuttle layouts for groups, a stretch limousine for the occasions that ask for one. Every vehicle is black, current-generation and unbadged. Coaches for larger movements are supplied through the network with us as the contracting party.

Livery FAQ
Will the guest ever see the BlackCarLivery.Services name?
Not unless you want them to. Greeting cards, texts and confirmations carry the name you set on the account. Vehicles carry no branding at all. If a guest asks the chauffeur directly, the answer is that the car was arranged by you.
Can we resell the service at our own price?
Yes. Trade accounts are billed at net rates and you invoice your client at whatever you choose. We never contact your client with pricing.
What happens outside Toronto?
Bookings in other cities are fulfilled by Limousine Association International affiliates we have vetted. You still book through us, the greeting still carries your name, and the trip appears on the same monthly statement.
Is there a minimum monthly volume?
No. Rates improve with volume, but an account with four trips a month gets the same desk, the same vehicles and the same statement as one with four hundred.
Who is liable if something goes wrong?
We are. Vehicles are commercially insured under the City of Toronto vehicle-for-hire bylaw, chauffeurs are our employees, and certificates of insurance naming your company as an additional insured are issued on request.
73 countries our own chauffeurs across the Greater Toronto Area, association affiliates everywhere else

The booker below takes a one-off reservation on a card. Account holders use the same form with their account code and are invoiced instead.
Weddings, proms, multi-day chauffeur hire and anything with more than one vehicle are quoted by a person: call (877) 860-3388 or send the outline and a coordinator replies with a written quote.
