One driver and one vehicle held to your calendar rather than dispatched from a pool. For the executive with a full week in Toronto, the family with a visiting parent, the principal whose office would rather not manage cars, and the client who simply prefers a familiar face at the wheel.
The difference
Hourly hire is a car you keep. A private chauffeur is a person you keep.
On an hourly booking the desk assigns whichever chauffeur and vehicle is free, and they are excellent. On a private chauffeur booking the desk assigns one chauffeur, and keeps assigning the same one for the length of the engagement. By the second day they know the school gate, the side entrance at the office, which coffee and whether you want conversation or quiet. By the second week they know it without being told.
The vehicle is yours for the term as well. It is not re-dispatched between your legs, so the child seat stays fitted, the newspaper is in the door pocket and the car is where you left it, not on its way back from the airport.

Daily
A ten-hour day with one chauffeur and one vehicle, priced below ten hourly hours. Ideal for a visiting executive's Toronto day, a film unit's talent car or a family with a full itinerary.
Overtime in fifteen-minute steps. Book the day before; same-day where the roster allows.
Weekly
Five or six consecutive days, ten hours each, with the chauffeur's schedule built around yours. Used for roadshows, board weeks, relocations and the fortnight a parent spends in the city for treatment.
Airport pickup and drop on the first and last day are inside the rate.
Seasonal and retained
A chauffeur and vehicle on a monthly retainer for a household, a family office or a company that has stopped wanting a dispatch relationship. The chauffeur is on your roster; the vehicle, insurance, maintenance and replacement remain ours.

A single chauffeur assigned to a lead for the length of the shoot or the residency, cleared by production, bound by confidentiality and briefed on call times rather than pickup times.

Unmarked vehicles, chauffeurs who have signed confidentiality agreements and, where a client travels with their own protection, routing agreed with that team rather than around it. We do not provide close protection; we work alongside it.

Most private chauffeur bookings go out in the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Families, anyone with luggage or equipment, and winter itineraries that lean on all-wheel drive take the Cadillac Escalade ESV. Touring parties, crews and delegations that travel together take an executive Sprinter with ten captain's chairs and a table. The vehicle can be changed for a day within the term if the day calls for it.

What clients ask before a longer engagement
Do I get the same chauffeur every day?
That is the product. The same chauffeur is rostered for the full term; if illness or leave intervenes, the desk introduces the replacement to you the day before, with the same briefing notes.
What are the chauffeur's hours?
A daily booking is ten hours from first pickup. Longer days are fine and are charged as overtime; days that regularly run to fourteen hours are better priced as two chauffeurs, which the coordinator will suggest.
Can the chauffeur run errands without me in the car?
Yes, within the booked hours: collecting dry cleaning, dropping documents, meeting a delivery. The vehicle stays within the Greater Toronto Area unless agreed.
Is the vehicle mine overnight?
The vehicle returns to our garage overnight for cleaning and inspection and is back at your door at the agreed time. Overnight positioning near the client is available for retained bookings.
How is a weekly booking invoiced?
Card payment for a deposit at booking and the balance at the end of the week, or monthly invoicing on a corporate or livery account. See payments.
Can the same chauffeur drive us outside Ontario?
Within Canada and to the United States, yes, with border and overnight costs inside the quote. Beyond that we hand over to a Limousine Association International affiliate and brief them from the same notes.
